On February 2 2018, the UN Committee on NGOs voted 9-5 to deny credentials to the U.S. Committee for Human Rights in North Korea (HRNK), a group which focuses on human rights abuses in North Korea. China, Cuba, Iran, Pakistan, Venezuela, Russia, Nicaragua, South Africa and Burundi rejected the NGO, while USA, Israel, Greece, Uruguay and Turkey voted in favour.
